![]() SPRINGFIELD - Mark Earleywine, 64, of Springfield died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2008, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born Nov. 21, 1943, in Springfield, the son of Aubrey Wayne and Margaret Winifred Bashears Earleywine Sr. He married Pamela Golladay on Nov. 15, 2005, in Springfield. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Wayne. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving from 1962 to 1968 on the USS Saratoga. He was a member of American Legion Post 0742 in Hutsonville and Masonic Lodge 500 AF&AM, and Eastern Star Lodge Lalla Rookh 218. He also was a member of Illini Bass Anglers, Illinois Bass Federation Conservation Director and a charter member of BASS. He was employed by several power plants, retiring from the state of Illinois. Surviving are his wife, Pam; mother, Winnie Earleywine; a stepson, Paul (wife, Beth) Golladay; a brother, Dan (wife, Marilyn) Earleywine, all of Springfield; a sister-in-law, Pat Earleywine of Lexington, Ky.; and several nieces and nephews. Cremation rites were accorded. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn, with the Rev. Gary Winkleman officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Camp Butler National Cemetery. Bramley Funeral Home in Auburn is in charge of arrangements. Memorials my be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
