On July 1st the first annual KiddieKlondike was held at Springfield
lake. The hours were 6 a.m. to noon. 17 teams fished. Great weather; east wind, lower temps, partly cloudy. Winning team had around 10 pounds. Every youth got a nice tackle pack, thanks to Rob Danielson. Give his baits a try! 1st, 2nd, 3rd got $$ and kids got more tackle. Everything went well thanks to Duane, Dianna, and their "better halves helping along with others "bumping" I did not know. Next year get a kid and fish, it was fun. We had a 12" length for all, free pass for the lake, and a great day! Thanks to all that participated I had a lot of fun. Gary
