Our members welcome you to the Illinois Federation. We are a group of dedicated catch and release bass fishermen operating in over 80 Bass fishing clubs in the state. We adhere to the ideals of sportsmanship and conservation in the organized sport of bass fishing promoting catch and release. We are also involved in various youth, charity and conservation projects. We act as a unified voice in protecting and enhancing our sport. We are interested and involved in more than just bass fishing. If you love to bass fish we hope you take the time to review our website.

If you are a current Illinois Bass Federation member we hope you will look us up often for updated information concerning our tournaments and projects. You have spoken and we have provided. If you want us to provide more than what you see, just tell us what you want. This is your organization.

If you are here because you are a browser looking for bass fishing information, live in Illinois and you are not a member of an Illinois Bass Federation fishing club, view our entire website to find out more about us. If you are interested in bass fishing as a sport, you should consider getting involved with one of our local clubs near your home. You can even start your very own chapter. You have seen the professional tournaments on television with prizes of $100,000 or more. The route to these professional tournaments can start in a local Illinois Bass Federation club not far from your home.
