About The Illinois Bass Federation

 

The Illinois Bass Federation is a Non For Profit Organization dedicated to promoting the sport of Bass Fishing through Youth, Conservation and Fishing Tournament Programs. The IBF is affiliated with The Bass Federation.  See more information about The Bass Federation at www.bassfederation.com.

 

The IBF membership consists of a Board of Directors and Many State IBF Clubs which consist of at least 6 members per club.

 

The Illinois Bass Federation offers 3 Youth Programs.

IBF Junior Championship for ages 11-15

The Student Angler Federation Championship for High School Age Students

 

The Illinois Bass Federation and The Bass Federation are the Grass Roots of Bass Fishing.

All Illinois Bass Federation Clubs in good standing with IBF/TBF and FLW are invited to participate in a annual State Team Qualifier Tournament for the opportunity to advance the Top 12 Participating IBF members to make up the IBF State Team to participate in the TBF Northern Divisional Tournament each year. The location is rotated between the 7 states in the Northern Division.

The top 2 finishers of the State Team advance to a National TBF Tournament for an opportunity to advance to the BFL All American Championship, The Top Finisher Advances to the FLW Cup Championship and also wins the Living The Dream Expense Paid Package to Fish as a pro on the FLW Tour.

 

The IBF Open Trail Tournament Circuit with a year ending Classic is open to all IBF Members who want to participate, Membership required.

 

The is one of Highest Payout Circuits around.
